Director Nir Bashan is a disnguished writer/director having won many film festivals and awards over his very young career. He has directed commercials and shorts, yet feature filmmaking is his life's work. Mr. Bashan uses the tools of emotion and empathy for the human condition to craft a cinematic apparatus borrowed from yersteryear iin order to define film classically, yet allowing the resulting films to be refined by modernity.

~ MICHAEL McCARTY: Michael has been in the restaurant industry for about 30 years, runs an internationally renown, five start restaurants (Michael's) in Santa Monica, Ca and New York City, and is one of the founders of California Cuisine, along with Alice Waters, Wolfgang Puck and Jermiah Towers.
~ CHIEF NADAV BASHAN: Chef Bashan has recently been honoured by the James Beard Foundation in New York City as being one of the top chefs in Los Angeles. After being helping with the explosive growth of Michael's Santa Monica Restaurant, as head chef, he joined Star Chef Michael Cimarusti (again as head chef) opening his new Los Angeles restaurant, Providence.
~ CHEF OLIVER ROUSSELLE: Chef Rouselle's earliest memories involve watching his mother cook, often a disasterous experience. He say, My mother couldn't cook, really, so when I was young I decided that if I was to eat properly, I would have to do it myself. Chef Rousselle studied in France under Michelin Star rated chefs, then came to U.S. at the request of Michael McCarty to head Michael's Santa Monica.
~ SOMMELIER - PAUL EINBUND: Paul has always had a love for wine, so he decided to make it his career. He studied at some of Los Angeles' finest restaurants, including Melisee and The WaterGrill. And when last contacted, was sommelier at TarTare, George Marrone's famous restaurant in San Francisco.
~ GENERAL MANAGER - MARK GOLDFARB: Mark learned management during college as a way to help pay tuition. He is now a full time General manager and left a post with The Patina Group in Los Angeles to become G.M. at Michael's Santa Monica. He loves what he does and is one of the insdustry's preeminent G.M.s.
